In 2024, we began the ritual of writing the annual reports of the Indigenous Network of the University of S\u00e3o Paulo (USP). In earlier moments, drafts of this practice had already been proposed, but there was no prospect of maintaining it on a regular basis. For each specific project that the Network developed\u2014requesting occasional resources from the university for its implementation\u2014an academic report related to that particular project was required. For each student involved in courses, projects, and visits to communities, the Network required the writing of a reflective report on the experience. In larger projects in which the Network was involved, some reports served to articulate sets of activities carried out over entire two-year periods. The ritual of producing written reports is one of the most relevant practices within the university.<\/p>

When we began the project \u201cNetwork of Care for Indigenous Persons: Conceptions, Practices, and Environments for Health and Well-Being\u201d<\/em>, with support from FAPESP (process no. 22\/04906-3) and CNPq (process no. 306149\/2023-0), we expected to have a mirror reflecting the full set of the Network\u2019s experiences since 2012, when it began with a project under the Aprender na Comunidade<\/em> program of PRCEU-USP. The Network\u2019s actions left public traces that would now be taken as historical sources of a trajectory of transformations in part of academic rites, aimed at deepening dialogue with Indigenous peoples. The reflection made possible by analyses of traces produced continuously over time would be relevant for elaborating foundations for opening psychology to Indigenous ways of being, living, and knowing\u2014ways that propose solutions to contemporary impasses to which psychology as a whole is directed.<\/p>

We speak here of openings to dialogue understood as attentive and engaged listening to the difficulties faced by Indigenous persons and communities, but also attentive and engaged listening to Indigenous evaluations of the experiences in focus and to Indigenous solutions to the psychosocial issues assessed.<\/p>

This report aims to bring back aspects of this trajectory that far exceed what can be recovered in verbal and photographic markings on paper surfaces. Much of the record remains accessible only to the corporeality of those who participated in the activities or is communicable through orality. The efforts to produce written records, in turn, expand the public dissemination of parts of these experiences, making them accessible to partners whom the Network has already constituted and who are now alumni, to those located in territories farther from the USP House of Indigenous Cultures, and to others who, successively, draw near to compose with those who continue in their presence. This is done so that reflections are not lost, guiding the continuity\u2014through transformation\u2014of the rites of the Indigenous Network of USP.<\/p>
